Artist Support

Guiding you through the complex landscape of creating and releasing your art to the world.

It’s OK to ask for help.

I have to remind myself that all of the time. I’m glad you’ve found yourself reading about Artist Support. It means you’re ready to share your art with the world; how exciting! When it comes to releasing your music, there are so many details to consider. What distribution should I use? Should I pitch to labels? How do I make money beyond streaming? How do I legally protect my music? How do I ensure I am getting all of my royalties? …and many more questions to answer. It can take the excitement of releasing music away and cause stress rather than a sense of accomplishment. That stinks.

Or maybe you’re not even to the release part yet… you might be sitting on voice memos and wondering where to even go next. Am I going to produce them myself? Do I need better gear? Who can mix my song? Why do my vocals always sound weird? How much time should I be spending on this?? The questions go on and on. We can help take your backlog of voice memos and strategize the best way forward.

It helps to have a supportive team, especially for independent musicians and DIY artists. That’s what TERRA offers.

With Artist Support, TERRA Songwriting can guide you through the process in a variety of ways. This isn’t meant to be a “one-size-fits-all” solution and it’s not a 5-part video that lectures about release planning or producing (you can find a bunch of those already). Instead, through conversation and learning, we will develop a plan and execute it together. Think of it as added accountability to help push you across the finish line.

TERRA can step in at any part of the process, too.

So let’s get started!

Testimonials

“Working with Elijah and TERRA on the production process and release of our first three studio albums has been an invaluable experience for OPUS 216. Elijah has both deep industry knowledge and extensive personal experience, along with the ability to help set goals and project manage with each album. I call him our Sherpa because he's truly a guiding light who has helped us navigate the unfamiliar territory of recording/releasing as we grow. I couldn't imagine embarking on this kind of project without his guidance!” - Ariel, OPUS 216
