Retreat Overview

TERRA Songwriting is…

a growing community of nurturing and hard-working creatives.

Are you an aspiring songwriter? An accomplished musician looking to broaden your abilities and add to your writing toolbox? A lyricist who doesn’t play an instrument? All of these types of individuals (and more) are welcomed at a Terra Retreat. We only ask that your intention is to grow, work, and collaborate.

During this songwriting retreat, one can expect to have personal time to work, attend curated conversations on relevant songwriting topics, collaborate with other writers, attend guided meditations for focus, learn tips for overcoming obstacles while writing, eat heartily, and more. The focus of the retreat will be to work on songwriting and learn/experience ways to break through barriers.

Terra Songwriting Retreats are held in environments that inspire and offer a break from every day life; a rebalancing.

We believe that it’s important to displace ourselves to offer our minds a new space to more fully create. We intend to create an environment that not only encourages productivity, but playfulness, camaraderie, and depth. We are committed to find locations that offer disconnection, have modern amenities, are safe and comforting, and sit on natural property.

TERRA Songwriting is a growing community of nurturing and hard-working creatives. We gather to learn from each other through collaborations, speedwriting, discussions, and listening circles.

Our songwriting retreats are focused on holding space for and encouraging creative progress. Breakthroughs come in many forms - a one-on-one conversation, a group listening session, forced collaboration, and more. Retreat attendees will have the opportunity to stretch their skills and grow their knowledge.
